Learning to respond differently
Speak Peace brought youth workers and leaders together to explore conflict transformation. The training focused on communication habits, intercultural understanding, and tools that participants could bring into their work with young people.
A creative learning environment
The published participant account describes workshops using poetry, rap, art, and games. Participants also developed sessions on embodiment, stress management, and non-verbal communication, and interviewed local people while exploring Aparan.
Beyond a single training course
The project aimed to exchange practices across countries and strengthen a network of organisations interested in peace education. Cyclo Project took part as the Finnish partner.
